a poem

one day when you wake up from your dream

you’ll realise that this journey is not so much about you

how much you’ve achieved

what battle you’ve fought

who you’ve become

one day when you wake up from your dream

you’ll realise

how deeply you care

what service you act

who you’ve helped

is all that matters

a poem

allow yourself to be fluid

because there are more than one way to live

how could you survive

in the chaos of life

with only one fixated belief

never-changing emotion

a singular way to grief, to love and to thrive

the fallen trees

are the ones that refuse

to sway with the wind

a poem

it fools you

it fools you long enough before you realise

perhaps a familiar love is not for you

it’s the kind of love

gets you wildly wonder

if you’re half enough

as the whole of you

is still a ‘singular’

it’s the kind of love

muddled with fears

of abandonment

it’s the kind of love

feeds you with everything

your heart yearns for

just so it will skip a beat

when the love is dropped

a familiar love is not what you deserve

a familiar love is not love

a familiar love is a manifested unhealed trauma
